Cardinals Complaints!!!! KAAAAAAAAAAAHN!!!!!!!!

Arrrgh!!!! Ok the cardinals are done. OK my biggest beefs with the game.

A. I'm not trying to make excuses, but that homeplate umpire was just plain awful. I'm sorry but if you call them up and in, then you're a complete moron. There is no way a hitter can hit a pitch up an in, thus in my opinion its not a strike.
B. The cards managing was awful.
Larussa, I respect your getting kicked out, you stuck up for Marquis, even though he sucks, and you did what you had to do. However, make sure your supporting staff knows how to manage. Retarded Oquendo should not have sent Pujols home, he's slow and unless he plans on ramming the catcher he should have stayed with the bases loaded and one out. But then again why are you leaving Marquis in? He's not a reliever and with your post season on the line wouldn't you want freakin Izzy in???

Note to Edmonds: Edmonds, that was not a strike, don't worry. But you can't drop F bombs on an ump that was just dumb.

C. I don't think the cardinals team knows how to desire to win the World Series, I mean i've never seen a bunch of guys less psyched up to win. I mean they look asleep out there.

D. You are power hitters, hit homeruns, freakin Mabry hit the ball the farthest and he plays once and a blue moon.

Kyle, I'm there with you man, but frankly this team doesn't deserve to win, they're not playing championship worthy baseball.
I hate houston, "lets make the lamest smallest baseball park ever..." But what I hate even more is the fact that the Cardinals have hit close to ZERO Homeruns out of the crappiest smallest park in the world.

Suppan, hats off to you you were awesome, its too bad you got a bunch of batters who don't care enough to swing the bat. I"M SORRY BUT THE FIRST PITCH, IF IT COMES STRAIT DOWN THE MIDDLE SWING AT THE BLOODY SODDY THING!!!!! This is the same complaint last year. FIRE THAT BATTING COACH AND HIRE SOMEONE WHO TELLS THEM TO SWING AT STRIKES NOW PITCHES THAT OUR AT THEIR HEADS!!!!

I wonder how those white sox are doing.

ICE TO SEE YOU!!!

Guh, at least the Blues are good this year.... oh wait they suck too! And so do the Rams.... DANG IT! AND FREAKIN NOTRE DAME LOST TOO!!!! I HATE MY LIFE..... well the sports aspect... everything else I'm blessed in and don't deserve anything that I have. But it'd be nice to have a freakin team that could win a championship.... disregard the fact the Rams won back in whatever.... though that was really cool and still remains the best super bowl i've ever seen. I mean it came down to the last play with inches saving the Rams, great, classic. Hmmm... from now on I only watch ESPN Classic, less depressing.

I also give many props to Soup! He's the man. He kept them in the game the entire time and his two nuts are bigger than our 4-8 combined.

I think I may be able to hit better than Grudzielanek has. There's so much ugly to go around I just don't know where to start.

By the way, I don't think Oquendo sent Pujols, he went on his own (as you know he's known for blowing through Oquendo's signs...which isn't always bad).

Did I already say, MENDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOZAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Are the Blues actually playing? I was too busy not caring about hockey to notice.

Any chance they're showing Super Bowl XXXVI on ESPN Classic?

actually, the astros park is pretty darn cool. it may be small and have quirky features, but it's the most electric playoff atmosphere i've seen. i mean i know im talking to someone who's seen games at busch, but i dont think there is a louder place in the majors to watch a playoff baseball game than minute maid park. after game 5 of the nlcs last year when beltran hit that homer in the 8th that won it, my ears were ringing. go 'stros.

I think you meant "Khan!"...

Well, maybe...

Kahn's is meat company in the northeast that Carl Yastrzemski works for. And Roger Kahn is a baseball writer.

And I think Ricardo Montalban played Mexcian ball. Was it him who had the great screwball back in the day...?

Nope, wait, that was Fernando Valenzuela.

Anyway, go Astros!

Hey dp, you're ears were ringing because THE ROOF WAS CLOSED!!!!

And they most likely were playing that annoying buzzing noise over the pa system and had it turned all the way "up to 11."

Hearing that much noise in an open air stadium without the signal from the clapping hands and "make some noise" cues on big screen is the real thing.

Bill, it helps to know that holton has always been a huge meat connoisseur...and he knows Elias Kahn does it right, isn't that right Chris?

Haze is right, that and I can't spell.

DP, you have seriously dropped off the face of the Respectometer for me. This is right up there with you wearing your Dallas Stars Jersey on Campus.

However, rarely do new stadiums impress me, I'm a fan of the old school Wrigley and fenway and wish St. Louey still had Sportsman's Park, granted it would only seat about ten people.

Dp. MM Park does not have quirky features. When you build quirks into a stadium on purpose just to be unique they stop being Quirks and start being retarded.
